ABOUT US

OUR HISTORY

Black Girl Pilates® was born out of a need to find community for Black instructors in the Pilates industry in May of 2017 by Sonja R. Price Herbert. Since then, BGPI has grown exponentially, along with adding a group for Black women who are interested in the Pilates method either as a student or to become a teacher. We offer workshops, classes, branded merchandise, an annual conference and so much more.
